Not only does the Wellgate offer a wide variety of retail outlets and a choice of eating options, it also houses Dundee's Central Library making it a centre for culture and information.

Accessible from level 3, you can also enter the library from Victoria Road. The quiet, calm atmosphere in this stylish and bright library is ideal for those wishing to take time out to sit and read a book, research a topic or get their head down to some study.

The library offers extensive study space, up to the minute information on CD Rom, Internet access, word processing stations, Pinpoint (local information service) and photocopying facilities.

The children’s section also holds regular events such as the kids’ homework club, storytelling sessions and competitions throughout the week.
